Watch Storm youth for free tomorrow!

Surrey Storm’s youth team Surrey Storm Talent take on Loughborough Lightning Talent at Guildford Spectrum tomorrow at 6.30pm. It’s free for spectators so all you Storm fans can come along and watch this youth game and cheer on our youngsters for absolutely free!

It will be the last Netball Talent League match that Storm’s England youngsters play before heading off to the Under 17 Netball Europe Championships in Belfast on March 12th - 14th. Storm defenders Rachel Mulloy, Francesca Desmond and mid-courter Ellie Fawsitt were selected for the England squad earlier this year.

Talent coach Anita Hollman will be hoping that as well as her England stars firing on all cylinders that the squad will show more consistency following a narrow three-goal defeat against Hertfordshire Mavericks last time out.

The Talent Squad has been boosted by the return of Kadeen Corbin from injury who will provide the shooting end with some further options. Corbin made an impressive last quarter return as goal shooter against Mavericks making an immediate impact to proceedings taking plenty of ball and shots at goal. The experienced and powerful attacker certainly provided Storm the impetus they needed up front, an area coach Hollman has been working hard on all season. The squad are also back to full strength after a bout of illness and injury and are ready and raring to go.

Loughborough Lightning have always supplied an abundance of talented youth players through their university structure so the match is all set to be another hard fought NTL encounter. The match kicks off at 6.30pm at Guildford Spectrum. See you there Storm fans!
