Geva Meets netballers from Ripley Court
Ripley Court School hosted an Under 11 Tobago Netball squad in September, which was a huge success, and the players from both Ripley Court and their guest’s squad were thrilled to meet Storm and England defender Geva Mentor in Guildford during their tour. In between shooting some new shots in the studio Geva took the time out to sign plenty of autographs, chatted to the players and there was lots of smiles all round.
Frankie coaches at Surrey U14 Academy Day
Surrey Storm long squad member Frankie Di Palma arrived at the Surrey Academy day to help coaches from the region deliver sessions. The Surrey academy girls came together for an intensive training day with specialist sessions. This year the day was held on 12th December at Cranleigh School in Surrey and was once again a thoroughly enjoyable day. Laura Wilson, Surrey & SW London Development Officer stated; “The girls really enjoyed the opportunity to meet Frankie and we really appreciated Storm taking the time to come along and support our programme. It is fantastic to be able to provide positive role models to motivate and encourage the girls to reach their full potential”.
