Achieve Lifestyle Sports Professional of the Year 2014

Surrey Storm’s very own Hannah Reid is amongst the 4 nominees for this year’s Achieve Lifestyle Sports Professional of the Year.

This award gives the public a chance to vote for their top sports person in Surrey. The award is for elite athletes from local teams who have inspired fans, scored points and been an exemplary sportsperson in everything they do.

Alongside Reid, nominees include Elvisi Dusha, Surrey Scorchers basketball captain; Dave Ward, Harlequins and England Rugby player, and Jason Roy, Surrey Cricket and England Cricket player.

A hugely successful first year as Surrey Storm captain saw Hannah lead the team through an undefeated league campaign culminating in a heart breaking one point defeat in the last few seconds of the ZEO Netball Superleague Grand Final.

Her excellent form during the year saw Hannah called into the England Netball squad, including becoming part of the INTC based at Brunel University and selection for England’s tour of Australia in May as part of their build up to the Commonwealth Games.
