Breaking: Storm reach Superleague Grand Final

Surrey Storm will take a shot at retaining their title next Saturday (7th May) after defeating Hertfordshire Mavericks at Surrey Sports Park this evening.

Neither side were able to take significant leads throughout the game, with Mavericks leading for the majority of the tie, only for Storm to steal it when it mattered for a 53-51 win.

The result means that Storm will meet Manchester Thunder at the Copper Box Arena a week today, for what is looking like another sold out Grand Final.

A full report on tonight’s clash will follow shortly.
