Frankie Wells is back!

Surrey Storm are delighted to announce Goal Attacker Frankie Wells has returned for the 2021 Superleague season after three years away!

The 24-year-old previously played in duck egg blue during the 2017/2018 Superleague season after working her way up through Storm’s NPL pathway.

Frankie will team up with Mikki Austin and Yasmin Parsons once again, and will join Karyn Bailey and Ellie Kelk in the Storm attack!

Delighted to be back, she said: “I am super excited to come back to Surrey Storm for the 2021 VNSL season.

“I grew up at Surrey Storm – I spent my youth years in the NPL squads and made my Superleague debut here, so I feel like I’m finally coming home.

“This franchise demands and values hard work, ownership and team work, and I’m ready for it all.

“I’ve been welcomed in so well by everyone and cannot explain how exciting 2021 will be for Storm.

“Bring it on and get ready for it.”

Mikki Austin added: “Previously of Surrey Storm in 2017/18, we are delighted that Frankie Wells will be returning to us.

“Having worked incredibly hard on her game in the last few years, Frankie offers us a real attacking threat across both positions within the circle which makes her a huge asset to our squad for this coming season.”
