Greenway reveals Testimonial Participants

Tamsin Greenway has revealed the first group of players to take part in her Charity Testimonial match at Surrey Sports Park on Saturday 9th January.

Greenway’s former Bath and Storm teammates Rachel Dunn and Pamela Cookey are set to feature alongside fellow fans' favourite and captain Hannah Reid.

Manchester Thunder captain Sara Bayman and Yorkshire Jets new signing Stacey Francis complete the line-up of current Superleague players to take part.

Storm fans will be familiar with the former Surrey trio Gemma Cosentino, Becky Trippick and Natalie Seaton, all of whom have confirmed their involvement.

Loughborough Head Coach Karen Atkinson MBE will be reunited with former England captain Amanda Newton for the special fixture.

Current England Indoor captain Clare Elsley and ex-Team Bath player Jo Binns complete the line-up thus far.

Following the announcement of her retirement from playing domestic and international netball in October, tickets for Tamsin’s testimonial sold out in less than 24 hours as Storm fans snapped at the chance to watch their idol in action one last time.

Though she will not pull on the duck egg blue and black dress in the Superleague again, Greenway will take up the role as Director of Netball at Surrey Storm and will still be present on match days.

Tamsin has agreed to donate half of the profits from the game to her chosen charity – Shooting Star Chase.
While tickets are sold out for the clash, Storm fans can follow the action live as normal on Facebook and Twitter throughout the afternoon.
