MID-COURT TRIO RETURN

Surrey Storm is delighted to announce the triple-signing of Yaz Parsons, Mikki Austin and Georgia Lees for the 2018 Superleague season.

Austin signed for Storm ahead of the 2015 season and won the Fans’ player of the season awards last season.

Lees made her Storm senior debut in 2013 and the NPL graduate was part of the back-to-back Superleague winning side

Director of Netball Tania Hoffman spoke of the importance of keeping hold of her mid-court players.

Former England international Parsons signed for Storm in 2015 from Bath and was part of the 2016 Superleague winning side

“Georgia, Yasmin and Mikki will bring a good level of experience after their first season of consistent court time with Storm.

“The competition for starting spots will be fiercely contested.

“Each player brings their unique edge and all have been working tirelessly over the off-season.”

The trio join Katy Holland, Katie Harris and Rhea Dixon in the current squad announced for the 2018 Superleague season

Netball London Live 2018

Storm fans can watch Harris and Dixon in action this season by getting their tickets for Netball London Live 2018 on Saturday 10th March at the Copper Box Arena, which will see Surrey host Loughborough Lightning in the capital for the first time.
