Netball London Live 2015 breaks attendance record

With 74 days to go, Netball London Live 2015 has already broken its own UK domestic netball attendance record as ticket sales soared past 3250 overnight.

The previous record, set by Surrey Storm in March at Netball London Live 2014, saw 3151 people watch the hosts defeat Hertfordshire Mavericks 52-50 at the Copper Box Arena at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

We can today confirm that this record will be broken on Saturday 7th March 2015, as ticket sales smash through last year’s total with more than two months to go until the event!

Since the 2015 season ticket launch in October, Surrey Storm has seen an unprecedented level of demand for tickets, with all home Superleague matches played at Surrey Sports Park either sold out or having limited availability.

The Copper Box Arena hosted international netball last week as England cruised past Malawi in the first of a two match series, winning 68-36. Storm stars Tamsin Greenway, Pamela Cookey and Rachel Dunn featured for the Roses, joining Mavericks pair Sasha and Kadeen Corbin in the squad.
