Surrey Storm will be looking to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat at home to Manchester Thunder when the table toppers overcame their southern rivals to stay unbeaten during the 2015 Superleague season.

An even battle came to a climax in the 4th quarter, when the relentless accuracy of the Thunder shooters prevailed and handed the reigning champions their 8th win of the season.

Team Bath meanwhile played out a huge 63-24 victory at home to Team Northumbria on Friday night and will see this round as an opportunity go level on points with 4th place Hertfordshire Mavericks, who host Manchester Thunder tonight (Monday).

The two sides first met in round 3 on 9th February, as the Sky Sports TV cameras witnessed a narrow victory for a Storm side still finding their feet after numerous changes in personnel over the summer.

“We’ve come a long way since the start of the season.” said midcourt player Georgia Lees. “We had a lot of new but very experienced faces in the squad and we needed some time to learn each other’s style of play and adapt to the changes.

“Bath are always going to be a challenging side to go up against, and I think we did well to just edge them out so early on in the season.”

Team Bath have had a mixed season thus far, taking 4 wins out of 8 and now facing tough fixtures against Storm, Thunder and Mavericks in their push for the play-offs, but Lees is confident that her side can overturn the disappointment of losing on Saturday.

“We have taken a lot of positives from the Thunder match. We had a lot of the ball but the pressure at the attacking end was decisive.

“Having already beaten Bath once this season we know that we can do it again. Playing a match at home after losing is the perfect opportunity to bounce back- we love the passionate crowd!”

There will be live updates from 8pm on Facebook and Twitter, meaning you don’t have to miss out on the action from another SOLD OUT match at Surrey Sports Park on Tuesday!
