The Opposition

Formerly known as Leeds Carnegie, Jets have built a strong fan base across their county in recent years whilst playing in various locations across Yorkshire.

Jets Head Coach Anna Carter has a squad full of upcoming British talent for the 2016 season, with experience coming from England international Stacey Francis who was part of Tracey Neville’s bronze medal winning World Cup squad last summer.

The Ones to Watch

Fijian vice-captain Maria Lutua returns to the Superleague this season having played for Celtic Dragons in 2010, adding more vital experience alongside Stacey Francis and has shot a 79% success rate in their opening two games of the season.

Vanes-Mari du Toit also poses as a strong attacking threat, following just behind Lutua on 76%.

The Squad

Head Coach Kathryn Ratnapala will have a full squad to choose from for Saturday’s game and is likely to stick with the same starting 7 that confidently overcame Team Northumbria last weekend.

Tickets and Coverage

Tickets for the game are SOLD OUT! You can follow the game LIVE on Storm's official Facebook and Twitter channels.

Don't forget that the Storm NPL squad will also be in action on Saturday, as they look to make it two wins from two with a victory over Jets NPL (4.30pm centre-pass). Entry to that game is FREE and no tickets are required (doors open at 3.30pm).
