Preview: Storm look for back-to-back wins

Surrey Storm will be looking to complete back-to-back home wins as Team Northumbria visit Surrey Sports Park tomorrow (Sat 9 June).

Storm will look to move level on points with sixth-placed Severn Stars, building on their impressive performance against UWS Sirens last weekend.

The opposition:

While Team Northumbria may have struggled this season, they did record their third win of the season last time out.

Malawi international Loreen Ngwira helped inspire the Newcastle-based side to a 58-47 win against Celtic Dragons.

Last time out:

Storm travelled to Northumbria on Saturday 17th March, recording a comfortable 64-47 win.

The win was Storm’s first of the season and came after the team made a notable 21 interceptions throughout the game.

Storm’s team excelled in all thirds, completing 41 of 57 centre passes and Rhea Dixon, Charmaine Baard and Sigi Burger impressed in the final third.
