Storm add Grace Sullivan to 2021 Superleague squad!

Surrey Storm are delighted to announce Grace Sullivan has signed for the franchise ahead of the new Superleague season!

Sullivan first started her netball journey with Storm at U17 level before heading to University.

She now returns to SSP and will join the list of Storm NPL products who have progressed through the ranks into the Superleague squad – including current stars Emily Gulvin and Alima Priest!

Playing as a defender, Grace will be looking to learn and develop from her new and experienced teammates – Leah Middleton, Alima Priest and Niamh Cooper!

Delighted to have made the jump to the Superleague, she said: “I am so excited and happy to be back home at Storm.

“I first started at Storm U17’s and felt a strong connection with the team.

“Coming back from University to the Storm environment again, i have felt so comfortable and they have truly made me feel like part of the family.

“It is a dream come true to be involved with the Superleague team and I feel privileged and so lucky to be able to wear duck egg blue once again!”

Mikki Austin added: “We are delighted to welcome back young gun Grace Sullivan into duck egg blue.

“Grace was a previous member of our NPL setup here at Surrey Storm before heading to University.

“Grace is everything we value here at Surrey Storm – hard working, driven and coachable.

“As a young and upcoming defender who has a fantastic work ethic along with the ability to win the ball when you need it, Grace will be an asset to our squad for this coming season.”
