Storm crowned Netball Superleague Champions!

Surrey Storm are 2015 Netball Superleague Champions after a 56-39 win over Hertfordshire Mavericks at the Copper Box Arena.

Storm finally took the Superleague title at the fourth time of asking thanks to a dominating performance from start to finish.

From the opening exchanges Storm were the more consistent team with Greenway dictating the game from Wing Attack.

Surrey led from the first quarter and eventually pulled 17 points ahead of Mavericks to win, with England captain Pamela Cookey dominant in attack.

The mood in the Surrey camp was summed up by Player of the Match, Pamela Cookey. When asked her feelings on the winning the Grand Final, the England shooter simply exclaimed “We’re Champions!”.
