Storm NPL Trials Announced

Applications are now open for the Surrey Storm Netball 2015/16 NPL squad, with trials taking place in September.

Applications are now open for the Surrey Storm Netball 2015/16 NPL squad, with trials taking place in September.

Last season saw Storm finish in 4th place in the Netball Performance League and their first ever match at the Copper Box Arena as a warm-up to Netball London Live.

Playing and training at Surrey Sports Park, the NPL squad have a great relationship with their Superleague counterparts and train alongside each other on a weekly basis. Many NPL players have also made the step up to the Storm Superleague team in recent years, including Georgia Lees and Katie Harris, with Rhea Dixon, Alana John and Olivia Leach featuring in the England U19 squad tour of Australia last month.

This year’s trials will take place on Tuesday 29th September at Surrey Sports Park, Guildford (7-10pm, 6.30pm registration).
