Surrey Storm is delighted to announce the signing of Nicole Humphrys for the 2019 Vitality Netball Superleague season.
The 23-year-old joins Storm from Severn Stars, and has also played for Hertfordshire Mavericks at youth level.
Humphrys has spent the past four years studying Sport Science at the University of Bath, representing Team Bath for three seasons during her time there.
“I am so excited about signing with Storm. I can’t wait to get out there with this new team and see what we can do.” said Humphrys.
“I’m looking forward to wearing the duck egg blue for the first time, as well as working with different players and coaching staff.”
“I like to think of myself as a fighter, so I will bring resilience, determination and grit to our team.”
Playing as a defender or in the mid-court, Humphrys adds real versatility to Mikki Austin’s squad.
“We are really grateful to have Nicole on board with us this year.” Austin said.
“She fits in so well with the girls, her work ethic is second to none.”
“She is a seasoned Superleague campaigner, so we’re glad to have her mix of youth and experience in the squad.”
