Storm sign Northern Ireland international Emma Magee!

Surrey Storm are delighted to announce the signing of Northern Ireland Goal Attacker Emma Magee for the 2021 Superleague season!

The 22-year-old stole the plaudits at the 2019 Netball World Cup with an impressive display for her country alongside Storm star Niamh Cooper.

She caught the eye of Mikki Austin, who has added Emma to her attacking options for the upcoming VNSL season alongside Karyn Bailey, Ellie Kelk and Frankie Wells.

Delighted to have signed, Emma said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Storm this year.

“It has been a big dream of mine to play Superleague netball and I can’t think of a better club to be playing at.

“I love everything Storm stands for and I can’t wait to see what we can do as a team this year.”

Mikki Austin added: “New to Surrey Storm for this season, we are delighted to welcome Emma in to the duck egg blue colours for 2021.

“The Northern Ireland international Goal Attacker had a fantastic showing at the Netball World Cup in 2019 and showed she can deal with the pressure of some of the world’s best defenders.

“Emma brings a dynamic energy and high accuracy to our attacking end and we are so excited to be working with her for the upcoming season.”
