Storm strike Lightning in Loughborough

Surrey Storm secured a convincing 48-68 away win at Loughborough Sport on Saturday night to make it four consecutive Netball Superleague wins and secure second place in the table.

After a closely fought first quarter in front of a sell-out Loughborough crowd, Storm pulled away in the second to put up 21 to Loughborough’s 6, and never looked back!

With Storm bringing high intensity, turnovers and polised shooting to their play, the gap was out to 18 at half-time and 19 by the Q3 break.

Coach Greenway was able to ring the changes for the final quarter, which Storm completed comfortably to secure a 20 goal victory and ensure Storm came out on top across all four quarters.

Storm taliswoman Pamela Cookey was in ever-impressive form, shooting 100% 19/19.
