Storm to open season with Super Saturday Clash

Reigning Superleague champions Surrey Storm will travel to the Genting Arena in Birmingham on Saturday 30th January to take on Team Bath in the Super Saturday opening weekend.

Super Saturday

The 2016 Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL 2016) will kick off with a huge, one-of-a-kind event in the Midlands, which will see all 8 teams play on the same court over four matches.

Team Bath will ‘host’ Storm at 8pm as a finale to the day’s schedule, in what will be Anna Stembridge (nee Mayes) first game in charge of the West Country side since taking the reins this summer.

Home comforts

Storm’s first VNSL 2016 tie at Surrey Sports Park will see Team Northumbria visit Guildford on Friday 5th February, before hosting Yorkshire Jets (13th Feb) and Celtic Dragons (20th Feb) on back-to-back Saturdays in the same month.

Netball London Live

One of the most anticipated fixtures in the Superleague calendar returns on Saturday 5th March (Round 7), when Surrey Storm and Hertfordshire Mavericks once again go head-to-head at Netball London Live 2016.

Storm are unbeaten at the Queen Elizabeth Park, having defeated their London rivals three times in three attempts, but Mavericks will be looking for revenge for the Grand Final defeat in May.

Thunder will travel to Surrey Sports Park on Saturday 16th March (7pm) to round off the regular season, in what could be a pivotal match in the race for the play-offs!
