Storm trio selected for England squad

Player-coach Tamsin Greenway will return to international action this December as she joins shooting pair Pamela Cookey and Rachel Dunn in the England Netball squad to face Malawi.

Player-coach Tamsin Greenway will return to international action this December as she joins shooting pair Pamela Cookey and Rachel Dunn in the England Netball squad to face Malawi.

Greenway will pull on an England dress for the first time since April 2012, following a break from international netball for the birth of her first child.

Cookey is set to make her return to international action after recovering from an Achilles injury which saw her sit out of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, and will act as co-captain alongside ANZ star Jade Clarke.

Dunn retains her place in the England set-up following an impressive showing in Glasgow and at England’s Autumn tour of Australia and New Zealand and will be pushing for a regular starting position in Anna Mayes’ side.

Storm NPL player Rhea Dixon has also earned her first senior international call-up and will feature in the ‘England A’ squad playing two matches during the series.

England will take on Malawi in a three match series later this month, with meetings taking place at Liverpool’s Echo Arena, Netball London Live venue the Copper Box Arena and the Worcester Arena.

All three matches will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
