Matchroom Sport are delighted to announce reigning Netball Superleague champions Surrey Storm as one of the first four teams the line-up for the British Fast5 All-Stars Championship at The O2 on Saturday, September 23.
Storm will be one of eight Superleague teams battling it out for a share of the £100,000 prize fund at The O2 in September, with more teams to be announced shortly.
The British Fast5 All-Stars Championship will see the eight five-player sides competing in a double elimination group stage for a spot in the semi-finals. The eventual winners will take home £25,000. Current Superleague leaders Loughborough Lightning along with Wasps Netball and Manchester Thunder have also been confirmed for the tournament.
Introducing exciting new innovations such as a double-point Power Play, 5-point line and 12-minute matches, the British Fast5 All-Stars brings netball back to The O2 and allows teams to include two global All-Star players in their squad.
