Surrey Storm re-sign Nicole Humphrys for 2021 Superleague campaign!

Surrey Storm are delighted to announce Nicole Humphrys has re-signed for the 2021 Superleague season!

The 24-year-old previously joined Storm from Severn Stars, and has also played for Hertfordshire Mavericks at youth level.

Humphrys spent four years studying Sport Science at the University of Bath, representing Team Bath for three seasons during her time there.

Playing as a defender or in the mid-court, Humphrys provides further versatility for Mikki Austin’s squad.

Pleased to be back, she said: “I’m delighted to have signed with Storm for a third season.

“I have loved every minute back on court with the girls after a long time apart.

“We have a great bunch of girls, with some new faces in the mix this year, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.

“The 2021 season can’t come soon enough!”

Mikki Austin added: “We are so excited to announce Nicole is re-signing for another season here at Surrey Storm.

“Nicole, who recovered from an ACL injury has come back to fitness in fine form post the Covid-19 outbreak.

“Nic is a committed and hard working athlete who offers a real tenacity within that Wing Defence position and we cannot wait to continue to work with her.”
