PERFORMANCE PATHWAY COACH APPOINTED

Inaugural Storm Manager, Emily Nemeth (nee Wise) returns to the Surrey Storm Franchise in the newly created role of Performance Pathway and U21 Head Coach.

Working alongside England Netball, Nemeth will oversee the pathway and development of all the junior Storm athletes to ensure they reach their netball potential. The role will also see her managing the new Storm Hubs, and their coaches and athletes, throughout the South.

Franchise Director of Netball, Tania Hoffman, is excited to have Emily on board. "I am looking forward to having Emily join us.

"She is very passionate about Storm and has the credentials to lead the development of our performance pathway."

Nemeth has said she is " delighted to be back at Storm and can’t wait to get stuck into the role.

"The opportunity to help develop future Superleague and England players was too good to turn down.

"The new Hub setup is so exciting and I am looking forward to working with all of our talented athletes and coaches."

Having returned to the UK three years ago after a four year stint working at West Coast Fever and Netball WA in Perth, Australia, Emily has been professionally coaching in Sussex since late 2014.

She is the Head Coach of Sussex Netball Club (National Premier League 2), works with Brighton College and has recently been named as one of three finalists in the Sussex Sports Awards, Coach of the Year category.
