Netball London Live 2018: As it happened

Another season over, and another day at the Copper Box Arena complete! We decided to take a look back over everything that went down at Netball London Live 2018.

Kicking off the day was the culmination of the Road to the Copper Box tournament, and there was plenty of quality Netball on show across the tournament!

In the Plate Final, it was Yateley Manor School that took home the win, while St Swithun’s School made it through to face King’s Rochester in the Cup final at half-time of Storm vs Loughborough Lightning.

Then with 3 hours ’til centre-pass it was time for doors to open;

The arena began to fill and it was time for the two teams to arrive…

There was plenty to do on the concourse, and it seems fans were making the most of the Photo Booth!

Back on-court, warm ups were underway and it was almost time to get going!

There was a present waiting for Storm in their dressing room!

Warm-Ups ✅ Next came the entrance:

With a great first-half from both sides, it was Lightning who took a slender lead at the interval…

At half-time it was time for the Cup final of the Road to the Copper Box tournament, and it was Kings’ Rochester who came out on top!

An incredible performance from Loughborough Lightning saw off Storm who battled ’til the end.

Following the match, it was time to present our End of Season Awards,

While the result may not have gone Storm’s way, there was incredible support from all four sides of the Copper Box Arena and it was great to see so many young netballers showing support!

So that was Netball London Live, another incredible night for Netball, see you next year!
