Parsons re-signs for Storm

Surrey Storm Netball can confirm that the 4th player to re-sign ahead of the 2017 Vitality Netball Superleague season is Yasmin Parsons.

The former Bath mid-courter signed from Storm’s rivals at the start of last season and challenged Sophia Candappa and Georgia Lees for a starting spot throughout the title winning campaign.

Parsons made her full England debut in 2012 as the Roses retained the Netball Europe trophy and will now have an eye on a spot in the Surrey starting 7 during the 2017 campaign.

After signing Yazz said: “I'm very much looking forward to playing for Surrey Storm again. I believe this season will be exciting and I know that our team will set our goals high and won't stop until we get there.

“Defending our title is our key focus this season and make our fans proud!”

Yazz joins Mikki Austin, Georgia Lees and Katy Holland as players who have re-signed for the upcoming season, with one further 2016 player due to put pen to paper this week.

Fixtures and ticket news for the 2017 VNSL campaign will be released this Friday as all Superleague teams gear up for the biggest and best season ever! Keep check on surreystormnetball.co.uk for all of the latest Storm news and updates.
