Preview: Next Generation Superleague Returns

Surrey Storm’s Next Generation squad return to action this weekend as they head to Loughborough for the second round of matches.

Storm will take on winless Team Northumbria in the second game of the afternoon, before closing the day’s proceedings against Yorkshire Jets who took one win from their opening ties earlier this month.

Surrey made the perfect start to the inaugural Next Generation Superleague competition two weeks ago, taking confident wins over both Loughborough Lightning and Hertfordshire Mavericks at Surrey Sports Park.

Manchester Thunder currently sit top of the table after also taking two wins on the opening weekend.

Coach Lesley Tischler will keep the same squad to travel to Loughborough tomorrow as that seen in Guildford earlier this month, including senior squad members Georgia Lees, Katie Harris and Amy Flanagan alongside England stars Olivia Leach, Rhea Dixon and Fran Williams.
