It’s hard to believe that another season is drawing to a close, but it certainly isn’t over yet for Storm as they face another three guaranteed fixtures will everything still to play for.

A double Easter weekend win saw Storm take two big wins against Loughborough Lightning and Hertfordshire Mavericks, scoring an impressive 133 goals across the two meetings as the league top scorers secured a home semi-final.

Northumbria meanwhile need to bounce back from a cruel 77-34 loss away to Manchester Thunder on Monday afternoon if they are to take anything from the fixture.

With the top 4 already decided, bar the final positioning of 3rd and 4th place, the north east outfit know that it will take something special for them to rise off the bottom of the table having won just a single match this season in round 2.

Storm came out on top when the two sides met at Surrey Sports Park in February, with Surrey warming up for Netball London Live with a 69-35 victory.

Before Monday’s regular season closing match, all eyes will be on the Hertfordshire Sports Village as Mavericks take on Yorkshire Jets in a game which will decide who travels south to Guildford in the semi-finals or north to the Manchester Arena to take on Manchester Thunder.

Saturday afternoon’s match-up (4pm centre pass) will kick off round 14, with Loughborough Lightning hosting Manchester Thunder and Celtic Dragons making the short trip to Bath in the other two fixtures.
