Storm pathway opportunities available

Are you interested in getting involved in performance netball?

We are looking to fill a lead and assistant coaching position in our new Aspire programme.

Aspire is the entry level for athletes wanting to develop onto the England Netball Performance Pathway. The Aspire programme mirrors that of our Player Development Programmes at U15, U17, U19 and U21 Academies. The Aspire programme follows an annual plan which includes game centred, technical, strategic, mental, physical and educational aspects of netball.

The programme will run from the end of November until May.  We are looking for an Assistant Coach for our Andover Leisure Centre, Monday 7-9pm and a Lead Coach at St Teresa’s, Effingham, Monday 7-9pm.

U21 Academy Team Manager

In addition to coaching roles we are also looking for a Team Manager for our U21 Academy.

This will suit someone who knows a bit about how competition works in the performance pathway, but would like to have more involvement and input into supporting our athletes. Training will be given for this role, which involves being the liaison between coaches and athletes, particularly for the practicalities of matches, and attending matches to assist with administration tasks.

If you are interested in any of these roles please contact Annette Allanson, Surrey Storm Franchise Pathway Lead, a.allanson@surrey.ac.uk.
