Storm re-sign Holland

Surrey Storm Netball is delighted to announce that legend Katy Holland will play for the side once again during the 2017 Vitality Netball Superleague season.

Ever present in the Storm squad since the start of the 2011 Superleague season, Holland has one of the top all-time appearance records for Storm and was vital in the back-to-back title winning achievement during the last two campaigns.

A Storm NPL graduate, Holland has worked her way through the ranks to become a real fans favourite on and off court while playing and coaching.

After signing, Katy said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of playing for the new look Storm team this season. In my 5 years here I have been lucky to play with some of the best England players, obviously things will change. However, I am confident that our new squad with a blend of old and new, will be energised to work and play hard, to develop into a team that will support each other in the ‘Storm way’ and to successfully compete in the Vitality Superleague 2017.

“Our amazing supporters will be even more important to our success as Storm is committed to maintaining its position as one of the top teams.”

Holland joins Mikki Austin and Georgia Lees as players who will return for Surrey Storm this season, with two more faces from the 2016 campaign due to re-sign this week.
