STORM SIGN SHOOTERS

Surrey Storm is delighted to announce the double-signing of Katie Harris and Rhea Dixon for the 2018 Vitality Netball Superleague season.

Harris was part of the 2015 title-winning squad before taking a break in 2016 to focus on her undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey.

Dixon is an NPL graduate, England U21 international and made her Superleague debut last season.

Both have represented Team Surrey in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and will form part of Storm’s attacking unit in the 2018 season.

Director of Netball Tania Hoffman has expressed her delight at the pair re-signing.

“I am very pleased to re-sign our young shooters from last season.

“Katie was our most consistent shooter and it was important for the franchise to secure her again.

“Rhea has had a taste of Super League netball and I am excited to see her continue her growth with more court time.”

The pair join new captain Katy Holland in re-signing for Storm in the 2018 season, with more signing announcements due soon.
