Surrey Storm will face Vitality Netball Superleague finalists Loughborough Lightning in the fifth edition of the Netball London Live spectacular.
After four years of hosting London rivals Hertfordshire (now Benecos) Mavericks, Storm will switch their opposition to last season’s table toppers, who finished runners up to Wasps at the 2017 Grand Final.
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park venue will welcome the two sides for the 5th anniversary of the event on Saturday 10th March 2018.
This fixture will be Storm’s first home game of the season, which kicks off on the weekend of February 10th, and therefore means there will be no games at Surrey Sports Park until round 10 on May 5th when Mavericks visit Guildford.
Round 1 will see Storm travel to Coventry to play the reigning champions Wasps on Saturday 10th February, a game which Storm took a big win in live on Sky Sports last season.
A mid-season break kicks off after Storm travel to Team Northumbria in round 7 to allow for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games to take place, before travelling to Manchester Thunder in round 8.
The return fixture in Loughborough ends the regular season on June 25th, before the semi finals a week later and the Grand Final on Saturday 7th July.
