Surrey Storm announce training partners

Libby Burgess, Ellie Harding and Charlotte Masters have been named as Strom’s training partners for the 2024 NSL season.

A part of Eagles Netball Club in Maidenhead, Libby Burgess was a part of Saracens Mavericks pathway. In 2020 the goal shooter was named in the U17 England Squad and took part in several training camps with the national side that year.

I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to be joining Surrey Storm. I’m really excited for the new challenges ahead and working alongside such a talented group and developing my own game

Libby Burgess

We are excited to announce Libby Burgess is returning to Surrey Storm. Libby, previously of our pathway programme, has more recently been playing for Mavericks where she has quickly developed into one of the strongest shooters in the league. As a previous Storm athlete, it’s great for Libby to be returning home and able to train and play against some of the league’s best athletes to develop her game

Ellie Harding was a part of Surrey Storm’s pathway and has been involved in the England set-up. In 2017 Harding represented England at the U17 Netball Europe tournament in 2020 and England’s summer tour in 2021.

Storm was my first franchise netball club, so I’m thrilled to be back training in the Storm environment with an exciting group of girls

Ellie Harding

We’re really pleased to recruit Ellie within Surrey Storm NSL for this coming season. Having spent many years through our Surrey Storm pathway, and more recent years with Wasps netball due to university studies before it sadly went into administration, she is an example of what dedication and hard work can achieve through adversity. We look forward to working with Ellie into 2024

Whilst studying at Bournemouth University, Charlotte Masters was a part of the Storm U21s set up and captained the side in 2022. That season Masters was captain and led the side to seven match winning streak at the end of the season.

I’m excited to sign for Storm this season. Being with Storm for the last 5-years in the NPL and then training with Superleague team last year, Storm really does feel like home. I’m really grateful for the opportunity to come into the NSL team this year. I can’t waited to get started with everyone

Charlotte Masters

We’re really pleased to have Charlotte within Surrey Storm NSL for this coming season. Charlotte represented Surrey Storm NPL for multiple years and has since been within the NSL environment as a training associate. Charlotte is a hardworking, explosive athlete with a lot to give and we look forward to continuing to develop her game in 2024
