Surrey Storm Netball are pleased to announce details of Tamsin Greenway’s Testimonial match which will take place at Surrey Sports Park in the New Year.
Tamsin will invite friends from across the world of netball for the special game on Saturday 9th January (7pm centre-pass) with mix of current and former players and coaches joining her to celebrate the career of one of the country’s most respected netballers.
A player as well connected as Tamsin is sure to pull in a few big names for the game, with a few familiar faces expected on court (names taking part will be announced over the coming weeks).
Charity
Tamsin has kindly agreed to donate half of the profits from the game to Surrey based charity Shooting Star Chase – a Children’s Hospice who support whole families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

Retirement
Greenway announced her retirement from domestic and international yesterday live on Sky Sports following a glittering career in the Superleague with Storm and Team Bath as well as numerous call-ups to the England squad and two seasons in the ANZ Championships with Queensland Firebirds.
Tamsin will continue to act as coach for the Superleague side and retirement will allow her to take a new perspective on the sidelines as well as focusing on the development of the club and the long term future of the sport.
