Bartercard Surrey Storm Sign Four-Time Netball Super League Champion Hannah Knights

Bartercard Surrey Storm is thrilled to announce the signing of former Storm captain and four-time Netball Super League champion Hannah Knights. After coming out of retirement for the first time since 2020, when the season was cut short due to COVID-19, Hannah is bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team.

Hannah has already been among the squad as a training associate and featured in this January’s pre-season games, demonstrating her commitment and passion for the sport. As a four-time champion and veteran player, Hannah is sure to bring a new level of leadership to the Storm environment, mentoring and guiding younger players to reach their full potential.

“It’s really exciting to be returning to Storm, unexpected but exciting none the less.” said Hannah. “When I retired I never thought I would be back playing netball again, but this season has presented me with an opportunity to step back onto the court. I want to play my part and help support the girls in anyway I can, I hope I can bring some experience to the group and I am really excited to see what we can all bring as a squad .”

Head Coach Mikki Austin added, “To have an experienced and championship campaigner like Hannah be part of our group is a huge asset. We’re excited to welcome her back into the fold”.

Bartercard Surrey Storm is looking forward to the return of Hannah and is confident that her addition to the team will only make us stronger as we gear up for an exciting and successful season.
