Frankie Wells to remain at Storm

Surrey Storm are delighted to announce that goal shooter, Frankie Wells will remain at Surrey Storm for the 2024 Superleague season.

Having returned to Storm ahead of the 2021 season, after three seasons away, Storm fans are used to seeing the 27-year-old playing in both the GA and GS positions.

Wells previously played in duck egg blue during the 2017/18 Superleague season after working her way up through Storm’s pathway.

Staying and resigning with Surrey Storm this year was a no brainer for me. This franchise means the world to me and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come. That duck egg blue dress represents qualities such as: determination, resilience, persistence and going the extra 1%, all qualities I strongly align with. I cannot wait to get back to work with the team at SSP and get this season started!

Frankie Wells

We are really pleased that Frankie Wells will be remaining at Surrey Sports Park. Frankie played a big part last season across both the GA and GS positions and gained valuable experience playing in finals, which can only add to our strength in 2024. We are looking forward to working with Frankie and continuing to develop her game.
