Surrey Storm will host Wasps Netball at Surrey Sports Park this Friday evening for the annual Tom Reseigh Trophy match, with fans being encouraged to wear pink to show their support for a fantastic cause.

Former Storm Team Manager Tom Reseigh, who sadly passed away in October 2016 following a long battle with illness, was loved by players, coaches and fans across the netball world due to his passion, commitment and unique humour.
A number of Storm and Wasps players have played with Tom over the years and therefore the annual fixture at Surrey Sports Park has been named the Tom Reseigh Trophy fixture in memory of a true legend of the game.
Make sure you pick up a match programme at the game which includes a tribute to Tom with comments from Storm players of past and present – available for just £2.
Wasps secured a thrilling 51-58 win over Storm in the debut Trophy clash last season, so Head Coach Tania Hoffman’s side will be looking for revenge on Friday evening.
Wear Pink for Cancer Research UK
Tom was a passionate supporter of Cancer Research UK, so to continue his backing of this incredible cause we are encouraging Storm fans to turn the Arena into a sea of pink with t-shirts, hats, frilly scarves and anything else that you can get your hands on that is pink!
We will also have a bucket collection to raise money for CRUK so please give as generously as you can.

With a total of 7 former Storm players in their roster, Surrey fans will be more than familiar with a few faces in Wasps Netball dresses!
Tamsin Greenway’s side are currently unbeaten with 11 wins out of 11 in the Superleague this season, but full of confidence after a number of narrow losses Storm will be looking to stop them in their tracks at Surrey Sports Park.
The game follows a thriller on the home court against Team Bath last Saturday evening. With neither side able to gain a real advantage in the first half, Bath were just 2 goals up at the midway point. Jo Trip and Lorraine Kowalewska worked hard to cut down the away side’s attack in the 3rd quarter to allow Storm to swing it round to a 2-goal lead heading into the final period, but the experience of Bath forced the hosts to fall agonisingly short and take a 51-56 defeat.
