Four-time Superleague Champion Flanagan to remain at Storm

The 2023 Fans’ Player of the Season, Amy Flanagan is set to stay in the duck egg blue for the 2024 season.

The 29-year-old first re-joined Surrey Storm last season following a year away from the Netball Super League.

Flanagan began her career at Surrey Sports Park in 2012 and helped Storm to two successive Super League titles in 2015 and 2016.

Able to play at centre and wing defence, she made the move to Wasps where she went on to win a further two titles in 2017 and 2018.

The Head of Netball at Wellington College decided to return to her roots for the 2023 season, having had a year out in 2022 to refresh.

I’m so excited to be back with Storm for the 2024 Season. I entered the 2023 season with the focus of taking each game at a time, and this was also reflected in our squad approach. I’m really excited to continue imparting my experience, alongside learning from my talented teammates - it is hard not to be inspired by the incredible women I get to play alongside, and against! Storm and the Surrey Sports Park truly feels like home and I am so thankful to have been welcomed back. I can't wait to see what our squad can do in the 2024 season

Amy Flanagan

We are extremely excited to re-sign Amy back home to Surrey Storm for another season. Amy returned to NSL last season without missing a beat and was one of the NSL’s most dominant WD/C which culminated in Amy being selected as the WD for the NSL All-star 7 and the Surrey Storm Fans player of the year 2023. Amy brings a level of championship attitude and winning pedigree which will continue to raise the standard of our environment.
